Vintage Madonna Virgin Mary Baby Jesus Dome Globe Bottigelli La Vierge NOS This Madonna with Child under a globe is from an unused and unsold stock. The virgin is truly gorgeous. she is wearing a gold coloured dress with a green velvet cape. In her hand she is wearing a staff and she has an amazing crown on her head. Baby Jesus is wearing a dress the same fabric and colour of the Virgin. There is a label on the bottom of the globe which says : La Vierge d'après Bottigelli. Année 1510. Reproduction interdite. this means that this Madonna was copied from a Madonna made by Bottigelli in 1510. Reproduction forbidden. The globe is 15" (38 cm) high with foot, the foot itself is 1.8"(4.5 cm), 12.2" (31 cm) wide and 6.3"(16 cm) deep. The inside of the foot is been covered with matching green velvet.
