Couple Antique Loetz Vases Footed Nouveau Bronze Armature Mermaids Threaded Loetz glass was made in many varieties. Johann Loetz bought a glassworks in Austria in 1840. He died in 1848 and his widow ran the company; then in 1879, his grandson took over. Loetz was a part of the revival of cameo glass in the early 1920s. Most collectors recognize the iridescent gold glass similar to Tiffany, but many other types were made. The firm closed during World War II Vases in overall very good antique condition, one vase has a crack in the arm and the other vase has a small chip at the top, one piece of a round decoration has broken off (for all details please see pictures) Each vase is 15.35" (39 cm) high and 5.91" (15 cm) wide ask any question if needed also about combined shipping prices.
